We are pleased to announce that, during the month of June, 2018, Roemer’s Point S raised over $3000 for YWCA Missoula. For each of the last four years, Roemer’s has pledged a percentage of our June sales to a specific nonprofit organization in Missoula. This year our manager, Jenny, chose YWCA Missoula because of their efforts to support domestic violence survivors and local families in crisis.
YWCA Missoula provides shelter and support for women, children and men who are survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Many people aren’t aware that the YWCA is also the primary housing provider for homeless families with children in Missoula. In fact, last year, their programs housed over 900 people, including nearly 500 children.
John Roemer says, “As a locally owned business in the heart of downtown Missoula, Roemer’s Point S understands the importance of community, and helping our neighbors when they truly need our help. The YWCA helps an incredible number of people, and we are pleased to be able to assist them in doing that.”
Thanks to Becky, Margaret and everyone at YWCA Missoula. You were great to work with!
